How do I order a cake

 

The best way to reach us for your initial inquiry is via e-mail to hello@jenlacake.com or via our contact page. Please be sure to include the type of event (wedding, birthday, etc...), the date of your event, approximate number of guests and what you would like in terms of design.

 

We will then contact you to discuss the details of your cake and provide an estimate. Details for celebration cakes can usually be finalized via e-mail or phone. For wedding cakes, this is normally done during an in-person consultation though we are happy to communicate via e-mail or phone if you are unavailable to come in and meet us.

 

All wedding cakes and customs cakes require a 50% deposit upon booking.

 

 

How far in advance should I place an order

 

For wedding and large celebration cakes, we suggest you contact us 6-8 months prior if your event date is during peak season (May-October), and 3-4 months prior during the rest of the year.

 

Smaller wedding  and celebration cakes (under 50 servings) can usually be accommodated with at least 4 weeks notice. 

 

 

What is involved during my wedding consultation

 

For couples wishing to order a custom cake design, we invite you to our studio where we will discuss the details of your wedding cake, create a preliminary design and for you to ask any questions you may have. Consultations are limited to 2 people and last 1 hour with coffee, tea, and cake to be enjoyed.

For couples ordering from our Collection you may book a private consultation as above. If you feel a consultation is not needed but would like to try our cake you can purchase a tasting box of our most popular flavours for $20 which will be credited towards your cake should you decide to order with us.

Do you offer any other pastries or confections

 

Yes! While we  specialize in custom cakes, we also offer a variety of pastries and confections on a demand basis. Please feel free to contact us about your specific needs.
